  • “When you pick a partner, you pick a story. What kind of story are you going to write?”

    – Esther Perel

    Welcome!

My philosophy of psychotherapy is rooted in the theory of change. Change often occurs when we least expect it and sometimes we need help navigating unexpected changes. Experiences from the past or struggles in the present often cause us to feel anxious, depressed, or stuck in negative patterns. The process of therapy will allow you a safe and nurturing space to create and be the change you want to see in your own life.

My goal as a therapist is to empower you to see your patterns and behaviors more clearly in order to elicit change in the areas you want. I practice an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I use several different models and treatment techniques. I believe the treatment should be molded for the client, rather than mold the client to a specific treatment.

Whether you are seeking therapy as an individual or couple I aim to work collaboratively with my clients to establish and reach their goals. My genuineness and understanding help create a strong therapeutic relationship. Through this relationship, I work with my clients to increase self-awareness to overcome their struggles and live more authentically in the present.

“A crisis highlights all of our fault lines. We can pretend that we have nothing to learn, or we can take this opportunity to own the truth and make a better future for ourselves and others.”
